Mario Fumo
Mario Fumo, professional architect, engineer, and planner, originated our firm, in the United States, in 1969. Mario practiced architecture in 3 different continents and passed along his vast knowledge of the architectural design profession to his sons, allowing Fumo & Associates to continue on for many decades. Today, Enrico (Rick) Fumo, Vincenzo (Vince) Fumo, and Nikolai (Nik) Kuzowsky operate the firm and manage all of its clients, while maintaining the tradition of excellence initiated by Mario 60 + years ago.
MEET THE TEAM
Enrico (Rick) Fumo, AIA, PP
Rick received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Drexel University. He has been a registered architect and professional planner in the states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware for many years. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). Rick’s experience encompasses projects ranging from custom homes and residential additions, hotels, automobile dealerships, churches, restaurants, medical facilities, municipal buildings, office/retail centers, warehouse, and multi-family and mixed-use projects. Due to his wide array of architectural design experience, Rick exhibits immeasurable knowledge of the broad variety of codes necessary to apply to each project.
In addition, Rick generously applies his architectural knowledge to assist volunteer organizations (Past President of – Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council) that provides shelter to underprivileged individuals.
Vincenzo (Vince) Fumo
Vince received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. After decades of civil engineering/design experience in the architectural profession, Vince practices all facets of client relations for Fumo & Associates, including but not limited to business consultations, technical advice, project cost feasibility, and proposal presentation.
Together, as a team, Rick, Nik, and Vince collaborate closely on all business and technical details for every design project accomplished by Fumo & Associates. Their heightened level of commitment enables them to proceed with the utmost of integrity on each and every project.
Nikolai (Nik) Kuzowsky
Nik received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (Philadelphia/Jefferson University). He has 25+ years of experience with national home builders and developers, as well as, with local homeowners and businesses. Nik’s architectural experience comprises of residential projects ranging from Multi-family (Student Housing, Market Rate Housing, Affordable Housing, and Adaptive Reuse) to developer housing communities, custom homes and residential additions, to commercial projects consisting of restaurants, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and office/retail centers. Nik’s experience in these architectural building types, throughout the country, reflects his knowledge of the variety of codes necessary to drive each project from inception to completion.
